Restart client portfolio

Restart has upgraded more than 1,500 buildings and designed 180 MWp of photovoltaics — and every one of those projects ends at handover. This platform keeps going: each upgraded building rated continuously from the meters already there, the saving Restart designed verified month by month in euro, findings routed to the person responsible, and a WhatsApp layer that keeps municipal staff, tenants and energy-community members in the loop. Ratings are EPC-principle benchmarks on the GreenX engine — clearly labelled, not an APE — offered under Restart's name.

Access control and people counters feed the same engine: HVAC ramps as staff and citizens arrive, follows occupancy through the day, and winds down as floors empty. When rooftop solar is producing, deferrable plant runs solar-first; as the building approaches its contracted power (potenza impegnata), staged loads back off automatically; hot water is shifted out of the evening peak.

How the rating is produced

Offices and other in-scope buildings receive continuous EPC-principle ratings — a voluntary A–G benchmark on the GreenX engine from metered data, clearly labelled as such and never presented as an APE (Attestato di Prestazione Energetica). Where a client needs the statutory APE, Restart's certified professionals issue it as today, with the platform's twelve months of metered data behind it.

Six client buildings compete on improvement against their own baseline. Municipal staff, building teams and energy-community members see their score on WhatsApp each Monday — no app download, opt-in under GDPR — and winning playbooks roll out cohort by cohort across the portfolio.
