RDC's South African offices carry statutory energy performance certificates; Botswana has no certificate law; Croatia already issues EU certificates. This is what one scale across all three looks like when the rating is generated from metering data — held continuously, re-rated every month, water rated concurrently — so the South African renewals never become a project, the Botswana buildings are benchmarked on the same scale while power tariffs climb, and the solar on the roofs shows up in the number. Shown here for 50 properties from RDC's published portfolio; certificates, bands and dates are illustrative until RDC's own are connected.
Compliance EPCs for qualifying buildings (offices, places of public assembly and instruction above the size thresholds); clearly labelled voluntary EPC-principle benchmarks for the rest — one pipeline, one scale.
Floor areas and occupancy class from the existing certificate; anything that has changed is confirmed with a Scan photo walk, not a full re-assessment.
Every South African compliance certificate across RDC's published portfolio, with its expiry and its data-rated position today. Certificates are valid for five years; the ones issued between the 2022 push and the December 2025 deadline come due from 2027 to 2030. With metering connected now, each renewal is issued from data already flowing — no site campaign, no rush in the year they expire, and no five-year cliff after that. Botswana and Croatia carry no expiry: they are rated monthly on the same scale.
Connect metering now and every renewal from 2027 is issued from twelve months of real data before the old certificate lapses — and the Botswana and Croatian buildings are rated from the same month.
Indicative, excluding VAT, invoiced in rand; pula and euro shown at indicative rates. No once-off certificate fee: the certificate is a by-product of holding the building continuously.

Properties and GLA from rdcbw.com and RDC's 2025 prospectus (some areas estimated); bands and dates are illustrative until RDC's certificates and metering are connected. Occupancy classes per SANS 10400-A; compliance EPCs apply to qualifying buildings above the regulated size thresholds, voluntary benchmarks elsewhere.
The renewal is the entry point — and the same connected data is the first rung of a ladder RDC can climb building by building, tenant by tenant, in any of its markets. Nothing here is required for the renewals; every rung uses the metering already connected for the certificate.
Continuous energy and water rating per building; compliance EPCs generated and registered automatically, held for five years and renewed from data.

LaterSend the list of South African certificates on file with their expiry dates, and the metering in each building across all three countries. We map every property to its meters, mark which renew first, and come back with a connection plan — one price per building, nothing once-off, one scale from Gaborone to Zagreb.
