Residences fall outside the mandatory EPC occupancy classes, so these are clearly labelled voluntary EPC-principle benchmarks — the same pipeline issues NWU's compliance certificates for qualifying instruction buildings.

Green Seeds: the inter-residence challenge

Six residences, two per campus, compete on improvement against their own baseline. Every house sees its score on WhatsApp each Monday, house committees drive the challenges, and rewards go to the residences that make savings stick.
